WiFi Setup

WiFi Provisioning (CUA 1.0 - SN starts: (17,18,19))

When CUA cannot find the configured access point, the unit will switch over to a provisioning state after 2 minutes. At this point, the unit will become a WIFI access point to allow local provisioning.

Follow these instructions to provision the unit:

  1. On your phone or computer look for WIFI access points and look for one names “CUA_#####” Where #### is a set of numbers. Connect to the network
  2. Once connected, open up a web browser and go to http://192.168.10.1/setup
  3. In this page select the WIFI name in the drop-down next to “WIFI SSID”
  4. Type password of WIFI Network. Remember this is case sensitive.
  5. Click the submit button.
  6. At that point, the unit will reboot and attempt to connect to the new WIFI network.

WiFi Provisioning (CUA 2.0 - SN starts: 20)

Press and Hold the button at the front of the unit until the green light flashes two time.

Follow these instructions to provision the unit:

  1. On your phone or computer look for WIFI access points and look for one names containing the name “CUA” and Connect to the network
  2. Once connected, open up a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1
  3. On this page go to the second tab at the top.
  4. In this page select the WIFI name in the drop-down next to “WIFI SSID”
  5. Select the network security (Usually WP2 the last option)
  6. Type password of WIFI Network. Remember this is case sensitive.
  7. The priority should be set to 10.
  8. Click the submit button and wait 5 minutes.
  9. Reboot the unit by pressing and holding the button at the front of the unit until the green light flashes 4 times.
